More than 15 years’ property management experience combined with a background in production management and insurance gives Senior Property Manager Tanya Marr the winning edge when it comes to servicing a portfolio of property owners and tenants throughout the Lane Cove area. Tanya focuses on building strong relationships and enjoys making a positive difference to people’s lives, whether that’s ensuring her landlords are confident they have a property manager looking after their best interests, and that tenants, too, can have their concerns addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Tanya started her career as an Insurance Broker, eventually moving into claims, becoming a Member of the Australian Insurance Institute and a JP specialising in claim settlements. This provided her with a deep understanding of insurance, particularly in terms of strata issues and property owners’ responsibilities. She also studied law for five years which taught her to interpret what can often be complex legal situations, to isolate issues and resolve them quickly and efficiently. Tanya loves the unpredictability of the job and the fact that you never know what’s going to happen from one day to the next. There is no time to get bored and she takes pride in recognising what’s most important to people and prioritising workflow.
