Extremely hard worker during challenging circumstances
My wife and I chose to Ed to sell our family home in Cremorne and we very happy with our selection.
To be fair, he didn't need to 'sell' himself to us for us to engage in his services. He won us over over the couple of years prior to us selling for a couple of reasons. He is the market leader in the area and we often would bump into him at open inspections which we would randomly walk past. He is human first and real estate agent second (his down to earth and honest personality was really important to us). We would often keep us updates about the market and these regular chats over the few years helped us to get to know Ed and have full trust and faith in him and the emotional time came around to sell our home.
In relation to selling our home, I don't think he could have had a more challenging environment to work with. When we listed our home for sale, the day prior to our first open inspections there was a restriction enforced by the Victorian Government that we were not allowed to show buyers through occupied properties (COVID-19 period). This completely threw us. He kept his cool and comforted us through what was a really stressful period of time.
A week or so later we were able to show buyers through again and he was very quick to get restarted and made it feel effortless. My wife and I we very impressed with how many qualified buyers Ed showed through our home with the restrictions he had in place (both from public web inquiry and also his database of buyers).
Ed rang me regularly to keep me informed. I was probably quite annoying to deal with because I would sometimes call him multiple times per day with the smallest of questions to soften my anxieties (sorry Ed). You also were patient and answered my questions.
Then came the auction. We had 3 bidders registered and sold under auction conditions on auction day for a price that allowed to us happily move on to the next phase of our lives. Thank you Ed, Maree, Radek & Craig.
