I had my home on the market with a Taringa agent for nearly 4 weeks, with interest from buyers which I thought were very low, and an auction price which I did not accept. As an ex real estate agent for 17 years, I decided I needed to change agents, as my home was getting a lemon tag, in a real estate boom, and sellers market in Kenmore. Thank goodness one of my old friends who was still working in real estate admin, asked Deron from Brisbane Real Estate to knock on my door, as she told him I had not been well, and might need some assistance. As he got two contracts for me in he first week, and they were both for more than expected, I trusted Deron to put in back on all major websites and he eventually got me a contract for $70,000 more than my auction price with the previous agent, with no conditions, which was important as I had bought a home in Toowoomba. (after missing out on one already) Deron was a breath of fresh air, after being conditioned by the other agent to accept the offers I was getting as "the market is what drives the price Sally - you know that!" I am now able to retire to my beautiful home to be with my family and friends, so thank you so much Deron. Really you are a superstar!
