At point of purchase and during the settlement period the property was vacant, the pool water condition was horrible, but as Ben stated will be brought back into condition very quickly. Two days before settlement day, I dropped by the property as it was vacant to take a look, much to my astonishment the pool water colour was green/black, water level half full and a family of ducks swimming in it. This I found totally unprofessional and completely dropping the ball, given the house was marketed on line with amazing photos of a beautiful pool and promises that were not delivered to have it serviceable. Our settlement date was the day before the Australia Day long weekend with our expectations of a relaxing 3 days in and around our new pool, coupled with promises made to our Seven year olds, certainly didn't make the experience a fun one. I did call and email Ben repeatedly, but he chose not respond personally which is the most disappointing part from my end. The pool has now been rectified through another member of the Brisbane Real Estate Team. In addition, during our initial view/inspection of the property we pointed out " tooth marks" on the front door framework, clearly from pets of the previous owner/tenants, again a promise from Ben to have this replaced, is still waiting to be done, despite repeated emails there is still no response from Ben. All in all, the level of communication and care once we had gone unconditional is far below what I would call an acceptable service standard from a leading and experienced Real Estate Agent.

I have to admit that once we decided to sell our much-loved home of 15 years, my wife and I weren't looking forward to what we believed would be a real estate roller-coaster ride. However, we were very pleasantly surprised by Jarrod and Kel of Brisbanerealestate.com. Jarrod, our lead agent, worked extremely hard in all aspects of our sale: presale advice (which he gave a lot of), conducting opens (including running several in our absence when we were out of town), providing regular updates including pricepoint and key feature feedback from potential buyers, getting offers (yes, there was more than one) and working hard to bring the offers up into our sweet spot, securing our sale (!!!) and continuing with his support and advice during the postsale period. And while Jarrod worked extremely hard throughout the whole process, he was very generous with his time, never rushing us and never applying pressure - we always felt like we were in control. Above all, Jarrod's level of communication (in both quality and frequency) with us was second to none - at no point were we left wondering what was going on in the process. He showed us much respect, listening and observing carefully, when we laid all our needs and desires on the table. Mr Brian Webster is a very personable man, right from the start he stated that - I will do all I can to see that you get a sale on your property. He certainly lived up to his promise. We had many people attend each of the weekly open days. He constantly followed up with the results of each open day. He called us during the week and offered great advice relative to the anticipated sale. He became a very good friend during the short period we knew him. Nothing was too much trouble for him. His constant and regular communication was most welcome as we were becoming very depressed that no sale had yet been forthcoming. He constantly encourage us which made the long wait so much more acceptable. We made a wonderful friend during our six weeks with him, my wife and I can only sing his praises.
