Shane and Kym and the team at Acton Victoria Park were great team all through the process of selling my home, I had three appraisals on my home when going to sell my home, They spent good hour with me at this meeting understanding my needs if they were going to be successful in listing my property, They gave me a realistic price of the market which was in the ball park of one of the other agents who appraised my property, they did not try and value it at less or more than what the market was; I told them i wanted a quick sale without compromising the value of my home. Once i listed with Shane & Kim all the details that were discussed with them at the meeting, they happened to the exact plan we arranged; with photographers arriving as planned to the listing being up on time. The home sold within the 1st week of being listed and Both Shane and Kim helped out through the whole process and up to the settlement, I was kept up to date with all the details and they also assisted me with errands i required done for the home as i had already moved away. I used a very reputable Australian company to help find an agent in my area called www.irefund.com.au and Shane and Kym from Acton Realestate accepted their terms and conditions via email and then contacted me to sell my home. My home was 'prepped' and sold for my asking price within a week which was great, however this was soured somewhat when I was contacted a few months later by www.irefund.com.au and informed that they had not been paid by Shane and Kym Acton Realestate for this introduction to me. Shane and Kym Acton Realestate presented very well in their dealings with me therefore I asked that I be emailed correspondence between the parties as I was shocked from what I was told by www.irefund.com.au - once I received a copy of the email trail I was very disappointed at their credibility and Integrity of their dealings with this introduction company and amazed at how they were going back on their email agreement with this other company, thus affecting my dealing also with www.irefund.com.au I would highly recommend using any company/agent that has Integrity such as www.irefund.com.au and that they are doing the right thing at all times, even when no one is watching and this is why www.ratemyagent.com.au is so important to ensure the public have all the positives and all the negatives on people selling homes so you can make clear decisions about whom you would use sell your biggest asset through. I thank them for divulging this issue to me and I remain disappointed at the outcome. (I have kept emails on file if needed for verification purposes).
