John was pro-active and dedicated in his efforts to sell our property. He put in a lot of time (during the working week and in his own time) at the house to ensure that it was ready for market. The result was an offer on the first day of sale that progressed to contract. When this fell through at the eleventh hour, John call to inform us. The exceptional part of his effort and dedication was that when he called to give us this disappointing news, he had already canvassed other potential buyers and had another interested party with an offer. He negotiated and won the price we wanted and the sale went ahead immediately. John should be commended on his communications as he was open and always available, and kept us updated at every step of the process. John, thank you for your stellar efforts and taking such great care of us.

Started off a good experience but ended up being a traumatic experience as there were major setbacks in having the house ready to sell. Sibby’s market knowledge was good. Although his enthusiasm was less than expected. Unfortunately there was no other option (only because we loved the property) there were a number of problems hidden or not expressed to us (We had to travel interstate for viewings and house was fully furnished). The day I flew up to take ownership of the property the owners were still at the house still trying to complete their removal (no time to even clean / tidy the house or to remove rubbish from backyard) Real estate was less than helpful. Real estate was less than impressed when I went for final inspection and requested them to organise someone to fix a significant electrical issue. We were lucky to recieve the keys in a lousy paper bag (no congratulations or anything) not bad for a 650,000 house. (All of this was whilst we travelled many times from interstate to purchase this property) made it hard when times were not met.
