I recently decided to put my beachfront property at Mona Vale up for sale and met with a number of agents before deciding to contract with McGrath Pittwater. Unlike some of the other agents, James was not prone to exaggerate the price I could expect to achieve, and now at the conclusion of the sale, it is clearly evident that the prices being bandied about were unrealistic and simply tabled to acquire the listing. It is widely acknowledged that selling your home can be stressful at the best of times but it was especially so in this case as I had already committed the cardinal sin of buying another property before selling. My property fell within the prestige section of the market and as such there is a finite number of prospective purchasers in that price bracket and I started to get a little anxious. I conveyed my concerns to James and in his trademark calm and reassuring manner he told me he was confident he would have the place sold in a matter of weeks. At stage I had been dealing with James and his most capable sales executive Lauren Garner and had developed a high level of confidence in them both. True to his word they had the property sold within the stated timeframe, much to my great relief. I have been extremely impressed with every aspect of my dealings with James and Lauren through this sales process and would commend them to anybody wanting an agent who will act in their best interests and keep them fully informed through the entire process .
