Agents work for the vendor. That became apparent leading up to settlement. Settlement was delayed twice by the vendor leaving a bitter feeling about the process and very little communication by the agent. I never spoke to Brett. I was dealing with his support staff.

This is a tough review to do objectively because I was disappointed in the price, even though the sale enabled me to quickly purchase a new family home which we are very happy with. I dont think I was properly prepared for what happened at auction when the bidding stopped below my reserve. Brett and I did not talk a lot about strategies other than him giving me one example of where a seller had lost money by passing their property in. I think that buyers expected the house to sell for mid 8s, and that being the case I probably should have gone in expecting to pass it in. However if I had done that we would have missed out on our new home. Marketing was great, the staging was great. I just felt caught off guard at the end. I now think that a price range would have been a better selling strategy for me.
