Sometimes when you meet Real Estate Agents they are SO keen to sell a property that you end up being bombarded by phone calls, emails and messages to try to 'sell you the perfect property for you'. David McGuinness from Ray White Geelong was not that type of Real Estate Agent. David was genuinely interested in what we, as purchasers, were looking for. He is working for the Vendor yes, but he was also interested to know what we as purchasers were looking for. If something came up that he thought would suit us I'm sure he would take the time and contact us. We were so lucky as the first time we dealt with David McGuinness was the time that we purchased the property and he was the Agent who was involved. We viewed the property on the first open day on the Saturday, made an offer the same day, made a further offer on the Monday, which was accepted, and both parties signed the Contract that same day. The Vendors were interstate but David McGuinness organised for them to go to a Ray White Branch near where they were staying. The whole process took three days from first viewing to the Contract of Sale being signed. Reading this you may think that he was pushy and pushed the sale through quickly to get his commission. No this is definitely not the case. We had missed out on a purchase a month earlier. We were signing the Contract of Sale on a Monday and another party came in on the Saturday and offered $20,000 more so we missed out. David McGuinness knew of this prior event and he was so kind in making sure that this sale did not fall through. I have heard so many wonderful accolades for David McGuinness - from Conveyancing Company Staff to people in the Building Industry who give glowing reports of David McGuinness' caring and genuine interest in not just acting for the Vendors but also for the people who purchase the properties that he sells. David McGuinness is a huge asset to Ray White Geelong and an Agent that I would truly recommend you deal with.

David's proactive demeanour and subsequent follow up was what decided us to use David as our Agent. At our garage sale, David came & introduced himself, telling us he often visits garage sales especially ones that have the title 'downsizing' to ascertain whether or not the owners may need an Agent in the near future. Following that, he was diligent in phoning & following us up, but there was no pressure. The actual discussion around the price of our house was done in a cordial manner & all parties agreed on the price. David was conscientious in communicating with us on a regular basis & this was greatly appreciated. He gave us good suggestions to enhance the attractiveness of the home on open day & made us feel that our house would be very safe on inspection day. Overall, we have been delighted with the work that David has done on our behalf to sell our home.

Wayne Baker from Ray White in Geelong sold our home to us. He ensured that that our experience on the day of the auction was comfortable and enjoyable, and stepped us clearly through all the paperwork. He is personable and was genuinely thrilled that we were so happy. His service on the day of the auction all the way until after settlement was excellent, above what I would have normally expected. We could rely on him as a key contact point between outrselves and the vendor to negotiate terms of settlement, which we made more challenging as we changed our request several times. Post settlment we very much appreciated him resolving an outstanding matter for us that wasn't his responsibility, quickly and without fuss. All throughout he was very quick to respond to texts / calls from us and was very clear in his communication.
