Timing in and out of the market is about forward thinking, good luck and good advice as the Gold Coast heads towards a Spring rally and the upcoming 2018 Commonwealth Games. Our rental has been well managed by Place Robina which became ReMax Regency over the past 13 years, and with our property managers we have been conscientious with maintenance throughout and a refurbishment within the last year or so. Daryn Trowbridge and Darren Lewis were an amazing sales team. They worked with our Property Managers, Jackie, Cushla and Ben at ReMax Regency to get the small stuff attended to & get the deal over the line. They achieved a great price in an early Spring market and wonderful that our terrific tenants will get to stay on. That was a win win for us and a huge bonus for our buyers. Positive experience from the initial contact with Daryn till settlement day and also thereafter. I initially contacted Daryn to inspect property and being located in another city a private inspection was arranged to suit my schedule, Daryn was quick and did all he could to assist arranging 2 houses for inspection. Inspections were completed and Daryn assisted with any concerns I had. Contracts were signed and thereafter a number of concerns i had with property were addressed by Daryn and he also was prompt, professional and courteous to my needs. I was an intercity buyer and not being located in the same city as property It can be difficult as a buyer buy Daryn was helpful and made the process stress-free. Daryn was always available when i made contact and any issues or concerns were immediately attended to and resolved. After settlement was completed Daryn continued to assist in the property, once again prompt and helpful. I was a buyer in this transaction but was so pleased with the process that if I was to sell a property would not hesitate to have Daryn as my agent as he worked hard for the seller of this property who was also interstate. Dayrn is easy to get along with, great personality, engaging and made the whole experience worry free. Dayrn proved to be very thorough, knowledgeable and skilled as a negotiator, he assisted in each process right up until settlement was complete but more importantly remained readily available thereafter, more than I would have expected. Even before we had selected Stuart as our agent I couldn't fault his level of service. From the time he took to talk to me about the current market, his practical advice on how to increase the price of our home without spending much and his genuine offer to help us out with any questions on properties we looking to purchase. Greg was excellent with regards to his keeping us informed of what was happening with our sale and the online marketing was fantastic! Our only disappointment was that we received $40,000 below what we were expecting to receive for our property based on Greg's initial discussions with us. Our own assessment of the "market value" and that of a couple of other agents were closer to the mark and I would have preferred to be prepared up front rather than getting my "hopes up". I must say though, ours was a "unique" property and if we had waited around to find the "perfect" purchaser we may have received a little more.
