Paul had a good handle on the local market. Being an apartment complex, he knew what apartments in the complex and next door had recently sold for, so he knew what we could expect. This helped to set expectations at the beginning. I felt that Paul worked really hard to bring this sale in and get it completed as well. This was the part we were most happy with. Whilst it is a buoyant market, apartments still seem to take some work to sell and Paul didn't shy away from this. We were able to be very hands off whilst Paul organised everything and did the leg work to get it sold. The settlement process was also a really positive experience. Paul made sure we got any minor issues sorted out and was on top of everything to make sure we got to settlement prepared and ready. I'd recommend Paul to others.

In contrast to other recent property purchase I would have to rank this transaction as merely "ok" as we did not have much to rave about. Other agents in contrast do appear to make far more effort; such as providing a little settling in gift and information in relation to local service providers, amenities and / or follow up calls if only to see if we were interested in other properties or whether they could act as rental agent - the same cannot be said here. Perhaps this is setting the bar a little to high but other agents seem to do just fine.

Like most people I shopped around to find the best agent to help me with the sale of my investment property in Darch. From the onset Chris was a stand out in regards to his professionalism and honesty in dealing with my enquiry compared to the other agents I contacted. Rather than give me an estimate over the phone he rung the property manager and took the time to go and view the property in order to give me an honest and accurate appraisal of my home. Unfortunately my property was left in a mess and I needed to undertake a lot more work to get the property in a sellable state ultimately requiring me to spend more money and there was a delay in going to market. Rather than wait for me to ask him for a higher selling price, Chris contacted me and felt that we should list my property for a higher price due the delay and extra money I had to put into the property. He surely didn't have to do that if he was after a quick easy sale! Chris worked tirelessly marketing my property behind the scenes before we went to market which resulted in my home being sold for 50k above the original asking price in the first home open.
