When it came time to sell our property, Nigel was very knowledgeable and helped us to understand the NSW selling process. All up, from the time of first advertising the property to exchanging a contract, it took 26 days. This included 2 open days, a second being necessary due to a time waster. Nigel and his team worked extremely hard to remarket the property and insure a fantastic result in a demanding market. With current tenants still in the property, Nigel worked with them to ensure the property was displayed in a suitable manner. Having been such good tenants, it was important to us, that they were looked after and treated with sensitivity and arrangement made to move them on to another suitable rental property in time for the settlement date, all of which Nigel has achieved. I met Trevor casually while he was delivering some calendars in our street. I quickly felt comfortable chatting with him. When it came time to consider selling our house, I immediately thought of Trevor and how easy it was to relate to him. You want your agent to connect with buyers, and I knew this is something Trevor would excel at. We met with him months before we intended to put our house on the market. We sought his opinion on changes we could make around the property to improve our value and chances of a quick sale. He was very helpful (he's even written a book on the subject!) and by the time we put our house on the market it presented very well. Just before we went to market we had a son, named James for James Bond. Trevor filmed a property video as James Bond! It was such a great video - and reached thousands on social media! I don't know of any other agent who would personalise a video the way he did. We had many positive comments on both the property and the video. The house was marketed for two weeks online and in the papers, prior to a property launch. Trevor was supported by a team of people to make sure all potential buyers were reached at the launch. We received offers that first day! By Saturday evening Trevor had negotiated with the top bidder to offer the amount we were looking for (and more!). This is on a weekend in June 2017 that was very slow, with other properties in the area only getting one or two groups through. Trevor is warm, friendly, passionate and professional. He worked so hard at marketing our property, that regardless of the result on the day I knew we had signed up with the right agent for the job. We can't be more impressed with Trevor. We found the agent selection process a rather anxious time. Who can I trust? Who is going to go the extra mile? Who will help maximise the sale of out asset and not just settle? From the initial conversation through to the end of the process, we were delighted with Trevor's performance. He kept an open and personal line of communication (no emails). He managed our expectations with regards to the process and potential sale price, not just throwing large numbers at us to win the job. He brought new ideas and innovate sales techniques to the table. Most importantly, he walked the walk! He sold our property for 25k more than our walk away price, massively exceeding our expectations which were moulded by the recommendations of other agents. For what it's worth, Trevor is not only great at what he does, he's a great person. We could not recommend Trevor more highly.
