Rachel was the third agent we invited for the appraisal of our investment property, and the decision was made promptly. She provided us with honest feedback on what we needed to do before we were to go to market, and had clear and straightforward marketing proposals. The weekly updates both verbal as in writing were very informative. Mark has recently sold an investment property for me. Actually he has done more than that… a LOT more. I am located in a different state and so I was relying on Mark to be the local person looking after the sale of the property. Because it was a tenanted property Mark had to liaise with the property manager, the tenant, the buyers and me. He makes it seem easy to juggle all these interests but we all know it is not that easy. One of the most important things to most property vendors is to feel that they are getting all the information about their property sale. Mark’s hyper-active approach to communication is amazing. It leaves you in no doubt you are up to date with what is happening as it happens throughout the whole process. It’s the best form of customer service. We experienced a few complications around timing of the sale, when to take the property to market and Mark gave great advice. I might add that he did so in my interests when we would get the best result, not when he would make the quickest commission. He was right with the timing for sure. The other challenging aspect was the manoeuvring of settling a property while trying to help the tenant find a new place to live. Mark’s negotiation skills are not just restricted to the sales deal. He got a great outcome that really helped the tenant, the purchaser and also me as the vendor in this regard. Finally and most importantly, this is not just another testimonial from a house-seller. I run a specialised Real Estate Consulting practice so I am in contact with Sales Agents every day, and have been for nearly 20 years. So when I come across service and expertise like Mark delivered to me I know the benchmarks – well and truly. There is only one conclusion to draw from reading this note. If you are reading this in the context of hiring an Agent to represent your interests, look no further. You would be well advised to put an agreement in place with Mark. Act right now.
