We engaged Adam to sell two properties, trusting his experience, buyer network and assurances that he could achieve strong results. Unfortunately, our experience fell well short of expectations. Throughout the sales campaigns, we were disappointed by the lack of proactive communication, urgency and hands-on involvement. We expected regular updates, a clear marketing strategy and a stronger focus on generating genuine buyer interest. We also felt our concerns were not adequately addressed. We were concerned that Adam appeared more focused on promoting his business and distributing brochures throughout our complex, where he had signed three properties within a few weeks, than providing the level of attention we expected for our sale. At settlement, Adam arranged for our two televisions to be included with the property without consulting us or obtaining our agreement. Settlement day was particularly frustrating. Adam contacted us at 8 am about collecting the keys, despite knowing we were moving that day and settlement was not scheduled until 2 pm. We received multiple calls and text messages to the point that we felt harassed and eventually stopped answering his calls and responding to his messages. He also wanted to visit us on moving day to explain how things worked for the purchasers. We felt this could have been arranged earlier, as the purchasers had attended the open homes before the property went unconditional. We chose Adam over other agents because we trusted his expertise and the results he indicated he could achieve. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect those expectations. We expected better communication, accountability, consideration and a proactive approach throughout the sales process. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Adam!
