Overall, our experience was good. Our agent, Gerdi, was very supportive throughout the process. As first-time renters, we were unsure about our rent payment date and unfortunately missed it. However, Gerdi was extremely understanding and handled the situation very professionally, which we greatly appreciated. It would be helpful if the rent payment date could be communicated more clearly, especially for first-time renters, to avoid such issues in the future.

Incoming was generally OK, except for the electricity issue. In correspondence, advised to go to Jacana for electricity. This was wrong, there is a prepaid meter system for this apartment. My time and Jacana's time were wasted. I did get an apology. Maintenance: Now two and a half weeks after reporting leaking toilet. After four days was advised, that have sent information to the owner to seek approval to have these addressed. Now further 13 days later, nothing. Surely the owner does not need to approve repairs to plumbing leaks. THere is a duty of care that is not being demonstrated. I am tired of having a pool of water on my bathroom floor. At same time, reported the state of the rangehood that was laden in grease - a fire hazard. Was advised that it fell within definiton of "reasonably clean". Submitted response to incoming condition report, highlighting other maintenance issues. In particular the level of mould in one of the aircons is significant and must be unhealthy - certainly not "reasonably clean". What have I heard since? ... crickets!
