It was implied that I didn’t need to get a building inspection as the resort looked after the outside of building. I found out later this was not the case. After moving in I have reason to believe there had been a major flood in this villa. Under kitchen sink smells disgusting and also in the bathroom and. Little hall area. I’m worried this is going to cost me a fortune to fix. It would have been picked up in an inspection. Kylie was really lovely, but was definitely working for the vendor

It’s very easy to find an estate agent. It’s not easy finding the right estate agent. One who is on your side and not out for the quick commission. We did a lot of research and Roxanne of Ray White, Bracken Ridge came highly recommended by several people, a good choice as the sign now says SOLD! Sold for what we believe was the maximum $$$$ achievable and within $3K of what Roxanne and I both thought. We first asked Roxanne to visit our house 2 years before we put it on the market for a market appraisal, we asked for suggestions as to our wonderfully ancient decorations etc. She took her time, outlined what she thought we could expect before and after decorating along with updating some electrical and garden improvements. During the near finished stage of the renovations we contacted several other agents in the area. Theother agent prices were all “in the present market actually achievable” lower and appreciably lower than our expectations. Lastly we called Roxanne back who said “WoW! we might even achieve a bit more”. Numerous low offers, two potential buyers who had finance problems, both of whom we hung about for. With one couple we had a signed contract, subject to 'Building and Pest' (no problems their) and 'Finance'. After weeks of saying nearly there and finally unwilling to go unconditional with an extended time frame. At this time we were running ot of time for the villa we wished to purchase. Sadly we had no option and cancelled the contract. 15 days later and we had our wonderful home sold. Me having a few health problems did not make life easy for Roxanne but she was brilliant, above and beyond extremely helpful and honestly we can’t praise Roxanne and her team more highly. Nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable and patient. 10/10

With many good agents in the area I was initially unsure how to choose who to sell with. My wife and I are so pleased we chose Roxanne and Ray White Bracken Ridge.
