David Buttel handled the sale of our property in a professional manner. We live Queensland and were unavailable to be in Sydney during the marketing and eventual sale of our apartment in Neutral By. However, David made sure he kept us up-to-date with all aspects at all times via email and phone communication. Always courteous, prompt and knowledgeable, he was a pleasure to deal with and we would recommend him highly to anyone looking to sell their property in Sydney. The only negative is that the price of the apartment fell 10% short of the initial price he quoted us 3 months before the auction. This was due to the depressed property market nationwide and particularly in Sydney. Our reserve price had to be downgraded to allow for the poor market conditions. With the uncertainty of the national economy as we head close to the election, we only had 1 bidder at the auction. Considering this hurdle, David and his auctioneer did exceptionally well in raising the sale price to only 30K below our reserve price so overall we were pleased with the result.
