We initially interviewed David as our agent to sell our Castlecrag home on the recommendation of a friend. Our friend is a retired agent who worked alongside David for many years. He also used David to sell his own properties. Once interviewed we knew David was the right agent for us. David is highly experienced, thorough, focused, patient and personable. We believed that he would relate well to the type of buyer we expected our home to attract. I also thought that if we had to have a tough discussion about accepting an offer under our initial expectations, that I could trust both his judgement and motivations. In a very difficult environment we sold our home after 3 weeks on the market and 1 week prior to auction. It was a difficult process as 3 similar properties within half a kilometer were listed at a similar price guide. To date we are the only property of the 3 that has been sold and that is attributable to David's sales and negotiating expertise.

A result that surpassed even our most unrealistic expectations. You could argue that it was the market doing what the market does, but first of all, you need to find the market and that is what Hamish and his team did so brilliantly. A superbly coordinated campaign, lots of communication with us (we're in the UK so it was greatly appreciated) guiding us through the process. Very responsive and managed our own expectations well and can only assume potential vendors received the same treatment. Genuinely, I can't think of a single area where we thought it was just good; it was all brilliant.
