David, I bought my house from your office 10 years ago so it seemed as good a reason as any to return to you for my sale.
While you are undeniably professional in the way you operate - your personal presentation and manner, market knowledge, the suppliers you use for photography and floorplan creation, website presentation and onsite signage are all excellent. However, the experience could have been happier for me. From the first open-house I felt weighed down by my property's inadequacies as reported by prospective buyers and passed on by yourself. I know agents do that to keep vendors' expectations in realistic check but mine already were and entirely based on your appraisal. I had done everything within my power and budget to present my townhouse at its best and was powerless to overcome the continually repeated complaints of too many stairs, too much traffic noise and too small. I began to think it was unsaleable which really wasn't fair in the market at the time and those 2 weeks became more stressful than they needed to be. You claimed to be working for me but I didn't feel that at the time. Ultimately you did however deliver a buyer at precisely the right price, for which I am very grateful. I know it's the way you operate but is all the down talk really necessary.
