Selling our home in Box Hill, NSW, was a rollercoaster until we met Ben Davenport from McGrath. After two disastrous experiences with other agents—one where our expectations weren’t managed realistically and an auction day passed without a single bidder, and another with a so-called ‘top agent’ who was deceptive, unprofessional, and downright disrespectful—we were jaded and hesitant to try again. But Ben changed everything. From our first chat, he listened compassionately to our nightmare stories, promised to show us how it should be done, and delivered in spades. Ben is an absolute legend—professional yet genuinely warm, a real people’s person who makes you feel like you’re his only client. He took the time to truly understand our home and our situation, pricing it spot-on for the market without any dodgy tactics.
