As first time vendors we had had our nerves entering the process, however upon our first meeting with Michael he eased our nerves and walked us through the various steps and patiently answered all of our questions! Once our home hit the market and opens began the communication was excellent, providing us with the entire picture of feedback prospective buyers were giving us. Then when it came down to the business end of making the final deal he got us a price we were very happy with. As a first time seller of property by auction I was unsure of the process and what was required. I found Michael to be extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. His attention to detail was outstanding. I certainly appreciated the visit the day before the auction to go over auction strategy , something I knew little about and a lot of questions were answered. He was very honest with expected price range which was reassuring. I would also like to commend Susie Liu who came to all the open houses and she was also very friendly and helpful. Barry Plant in general was very professional and I did not quite realise how much work goes on in the background when selling a property. I have been looking at other houses to buy and by default comparing other real estate companies and how "open houses" are presented and I think Barry Plant comes out up the top if not on top. On the day of auction I was "terrified" of all the possibilities that could occur but Michael was very reassuring and very calming. His "auctioneering" skills were obviously great and he achieved an excellent result for me. I would like to thank Michael, Susie and Barry Plant for helping me through this emotional time of selling my home of 18 years with minimum of fuss and a lot of expertise.
