My partner and I saw a piece of land for sale and enquired on the day. Chang told us that if we were interested we would have to 'put in an offer' today. When we got there, we were presented with a contract of sale to sign rather than a statement of offer. We asked if we could have a couple of days to have it looked over by our solicitor to make sure everything was in order and Chang said no and that the vendors wanted it 'sold today', even though the listing stated that the date of sale deadline was not for another 2 weeks. Alice kept encouraging and stating that we were to make our best offer as lots of people had put in offers already, so with great hesitation and much pressure, we signed the contract of sale. Before the ink was even dry however, just as we arrived home from the Barry Plant offices, we received a call from Alice to say that we had won the apparent bidding war. Although we are happy with our plot of land, we would not recommend Chang and Alice as the overall experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths. We also rang Alice a couple of weeks later with a question about the contract to which she replied that she couldn't help us as her job and part in the sale was done which was disappointing.
