Our initial engagement with him, was only for an appraisal, with no real prospect of a sale contract. Even then, he stood out among the other agents, with the thoroughly researched and detailed appraisal email he sent to us. Two months later, we contacted Merino again, to sell the property. Turns out, he had already canvassed his list of contacts and was confident of a quick offer. Within two days we had that excellent offer! In two weeks we had an outstanding offer, we agreed to accept! The whole process was very straightforward and smooth. Merinos communication was terrific, and we genuinely enjoyed our conversations. He worked hard and fast, getting us the best possible outcome. We honestly felt like we were his only client. He took care of every detail with all the relevant parties. In contrast to many of our previous dealings with other agents in years past, our experience with Merino was faultless. He deserves every accolade he receives.

I found Marino from the positive reviews and the large volume of sales and experience in the area I was selling. Having called many other agents and being sent basic emails with an outline of their services, I was unimpressed and unable to discern the difference. I called Marino and outlined my experience to date, and instantly I was sold. This agent not only sold me in the first few minutes meeting me on my level, but then actually delivered. This is pretty rare these days. His communication was impeccable with regular updates (I didn’t even ask for), keeping me abreast of everything, I didn’t have to chase at all, and the negotiations and follow up was pure speed and action. If you truly want someone that is more passionate then you are about selling, this is your guy. Faith restored in people who actually care the way they should and do what they say they will. Super refreshing. I couldn’t have asked for a better agent, and I got the price I wanted too :)

Marino has been absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. We had previously dealt with three different real estate agents, and hands down, Marino was in a league of his own. He went above and beyond what was expected of him—always approachable, down to earth, and genuinely had our best interests at heart. He kept us in the loop at every step, stayed in close contact with all relevant stakeholders, and even stepped in to assist with issues that were technically outside his scope, including matters that were meant to be handled by our property manager. His work ethic is outstanding. He worked harder than anyone else we’ve come across in the industry and was completely committed to ensuring the best possible outcome for us. After a pretty tough journey with previous agents who made lots of promises but didn’t deliver, Marino was a breath of fresh air. I have dealt with a lot of real estate agents in my time both personally and professionally. In this day an age a lot of agents tell you what you want to here, Marino gives it to you straight. If he says he is going to do something he will. I will never use another real estate agent again. You want a real person who will give you the best outcome, deal with Marino.

Marino had been in contact with us over the past couple of years following up on when we might be in a position to sell. This year upon his phone call we expressed an interest to sell off market and Marino stepped us through the whole process. We then went ahead with the proposal and within 10 days had a contract signed for the desired sale price.
