Selling our home using Cathy Baker was an absolutely terrible experience.When voicing our concerns Cathy didn’t listen,from marketing to our availability to show our home at its best, also checking that the buyers were qualified , we felt she just let anyone in, which became disruptive and felt pointless.We lost total faith in Cathy’s ability to sell our home, communication broke down and the whole experience gave us anxiety. We would not recommend Cathy Baker under any circumstances

My overall experience with Cathy was unsatisfactory. After experiencing lengthy delays by the buyer, as an incentive I suggested a price reduction of $20,000 only if the buyer exchanged by Thursday 5:00pm. This exchange did not take place on that day and no further communication by Cathy took place for period of 3 weeks. Against my word, Cathy facilitated the exchange much later at the reduced price and I forfeited $20,000 to get nothing in return. I found overall that Cathy never answered her phone. Professionalism was non existent. They were only on the side of the buyer, when I (the vendor) hired them. Also they advertised under my expected price. They didn’t answer my calls, only text message when they wanted to. I was not kept in the picture and overall the experience was horrendous.

We were very pleased with the experience and the result we achieved with Cathy Baker and Laura Losordo. Selling our family property at Wagstaffe was an emotional process, and Cathy and Laura handled it with real care and understanding. They were incredibly respectful of our grief, while also being motivating, organised, and supportive in helping us get the house ready for sale and keep everything moving forward. The property sold in its first week, without going to auction, in a difficult market, for a price we were happy with and with settlement terms that suited both sides. The entire process felt easy, efficient, and well managed from start to finish. Cathy and Laura struck a great balance between empathy and professionalism. They made a difficult time much easier and delivered a strong result. We would happily recommend them.
