To state that this was a difficult sale is really understating the issues that kept popping up; issues that were totally out of our control. I won't go into them here but suffice to say that dealing with a 160 year old building with a serious Heritage overlay combined with an owner who had to sell, rather than wanted to sell, certainly pushed the boundaries of the relationship between Estate Agent and Vendor. The sale was further hindered by the owner who wanted the 'right people' to take over the site of her family heritage, whilst at the same time, negotiating with Heritage Victoria over the restrictions placed on the site as to what could or could not be done. Annette certainly had her task laid out for her, but not only did she maintain and help this owner keep a proper perspective on why it was being sold, she handled the Heritage side of things perfectly. Annette kept me up to speed on what was happening and was as excited as I was when it was finally sold to a very worthy couple. I would like to thank her for her diligence, friendship and persistence.
