Hi Sellers If you are selling your home please don’t look any further and don’t waste your time with agents that don’t work for you but make you spend a huge amount of money on advertising fees. We have worked with many agents in the Peninsula but have to say that Grant has gained our families trust and confidence. He has sold 2 of our properties within 2 months. The second one was sold only in 3 days once it was listed with a fantastic result. In January 2015 I decided to sell my property in Vickie Court Rosebud. Having been in Real Estate for 8 years myself, I pretty well knew what I wanted in an agent and what it takes to sell a property as quickly as possible and with as little fuss. The biggest issue I had was that I live in North Queensland and couldn't physically meet the agents at the market appraisals. Like most people I decided I would chat to three agents who I believed held biggest market share in the area, then book flights and travel down to Melbourne to meet them before picking one to use as my sales agent. I wanted to give the job to someone I thought was very much like myself in business, hard working, loyal, honest, upfront and most of all didn't just tell me "what I wanted to hear" Having spoken to two agents on the phone I decided straight away they weren't for me.... push tactics, upselling a sales plan I didn't like or just sounding slimy...... Many Agents do that well. I was then contacted by Phil Down who straight away came across as pleasant, believable, a nice family guy, had solid area knowledge but most of all a person who I could tell, my target market would relate to and trust. Without even meeting Phil in person I felt confident to use him as the agent, I wanted to represent my property. Very quickly and with no fuss he organised the pictures, advertising and a couple of weeks of open homes. The rest is history...... The property sold in 16 days for a great price and I am one happy seller. I would have no issues recommending Phil and his team to any future seller in the Peninsula area. The follow up after contracts were signed was great and his congratulatory phone call on settlement day was very nice to receive also.
