I came to know and appreciate Antonio Ariola's skills and professionalism in the couse of three real estate transactions exceeding $5.5million, initially as a buyer and subsequently as a seller . Each property was presented with a focus on its potential for the buyer. The strong and pleasing features, as well as the weakness and drawbacks, were there for discerning buyers to appreciate and respond to. What I appreciated was an absence of hyperbole in respect of strengths; or minimisation in respect of the drawbacks. Steps taken to enhance strengths included detailed furnishings, flower displays, professionally taken photographs, accessible information giving room dimensions, two-times weekly open houses, a pleasing visual inspection experience pointing to potential for enhancement or simply making a room fit to one's own taste. Drawbacks were acknowledged, assessed realistically and death with honestly. From property or office Antonio, or informed support staff, were on hand. Each property was listed on a range of web sites guaranteeing wide and easy access to the fact of its availability, location, price range and special features, professionally illustrated by photographs and diagrams. During the six week's campaign - whether as buyer or seller - there was follow up with me - accurate information was passed on as to the level and quality of interest; reassessment or confirmation as to price range; favourable or unfavourable responses from inspections. Antonio's professionalism focused upon informing both buyer and seller (in this case me) in an honest and realistic way how circumstances - whether favourable or unfavourable to the sale - would impact upon the outcome of the auction and what, if any, steps could be taken on or before the auction to deal with them appropriately. On auction day he was attentive to both potential buyers and seller, making sure each understood and were comfortable. My solicitors also found him easy to work with.
