Overall a positive experience. My only "negative" comment would be that the indicative price range suggested regularly at open houses was obviously too low. Maybe to avoid under quoting the regulations covering real estate should require the owner to nominate his/her reserve at the beginning of the sales campaign. The indicative price range should cover the reserve. This would not preclude the successful bid exceeding the reserve and the high end of the price range but would avoid frustrating potential buyers who believe the agent's indicative range.

We only have two words to say about Anthony Calacoci! Thank God! We had tried to sell our home about a year ago by private sale. The then agent managed just one offer, which was below the minimum price we had clearly specified from the start. They then tried very hard to push us into a deal, but thankfully we resisted. Anthony always said that the only way to sell our property was at auction, with no pre-auction offers to be accepted. Only then would we know the true value of a Manly beachfront apartment. What a result, price 34% higher within a year after 5 parties bidding! Great strategy, excellent communication, competitive tension and most importantly - SOLD!
