▶Patrick persuaded us to sign on with Belle after we had an unsuccessful campaign earlier in the year. His knowledge of our local area and his sales record in this area are unquestionable and we had high hopes that he would be able to achieve an exceptional result for us. His support team, led by Emma, were very professional in all our dealings with them. They organized several tradespeople to come in and help us prepare the house and garden for display, and gave sound advice about how to maximise the presentation of the home. The sales campaign turned out to be quite short as we received a strong early offer. Patrick advised us to take this offer seriously and he helped us negotiate the best result we could get from this buyer. While this wasn’t quite the exceptional result we had hoped for, we chose to accept it rather than take a risk on continuing the campaign in the hope of a better outcome at auction. Although it was a short campaign Patrick took care to keep us informed about each step in the process and what to expect in the coming days. He was at all times responsive to our concerns and very positive and professional in all our dealings with him.
The sales campaign didn't play out as we had expected. While we are satisfied with the result we did have hopes that Belle would be able to achieve an exceptional result for us. In the end we were persuaded to accept the offer on the table rather than take a risk on getting a better outcome if the campaign went to auction. We did find ourselves under intense pressure to the pressure to complete that deal, although we accept that the agent's advice was soundly based.
