Selling your home for whatever reason is one of the greater stressors in life. In saying this, it is so imperative that you are in the hands of a Real Estate business that you know that you can trust. Apart from the emotional factors, the financial factors are huge and everyone wishes to gain a fair price for their much loved property and be able to move on to the next phase of their lives. Making the decision to sell our home this year in order to downsize was difficult, however, Peter McCormack and the wonderful staff of McCormack Barber made this an extremely comforting experience. Comforting, because everyone we came in contact with was extremely supportive, kind, courteous and understanding, from the Administrative staff to the Sales people. Peter headed up a fine team and sold our home very quickly and we were happy with the price we obtained for it. We then were very fortunate to be able to purchase our smaller home through McCormack Barber as well. How easy!!!! So after much initial anxiety, followed by lots of wonderful support, and valuable guidance and expert advice from the Sales Team we transitioned to our new home. We selected Peter McCormack to market our home after interviewing the five main agencies in Orange and carefully researching recent sales of homes in our price bracket. In our view of all the agents we spoke to, Peter had the best appreciation of the value of our property and connected with the features that we believed made it unique. We thought that he had the skills to communicate the these features to potential buyers. Peter also understood and accepted that we were not in a hurry to sell. As a result he worked with us over 14 months to market the property effectively. Unlike many local agents his goal wasn't to set the price for a quick sale, make this and move onto the next property.
