We approached Nick with our dilemma: how to sell our apartment while leased with a long term tenant (in a pandemic fueled panic we had leased it out prior to recognising that it was actually time to sell). Nick spoke with the tenant, considered how the apartment presented in that setting and after weighing up several alternatives, suggested that we try selling it 'off market'. From time to time Nick found potential buyers and showed them through. Nick always kept us updated and helped us understand what 'the market' was doing. At one stage, we had second thoughts about selling and Nick supported us 100% to explore that option further. It took a while before Nick found the right buyer. But, when he did, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an impressive offer that we were pleased with. Throughout the process, Nick's advice and calm manner was extremely helpful. The decision to sell 'off market' saved us a lot of money and still resulted in a great final sale price, prior to the expiry of the our tenant's lease.
