A stratight shooter who delivers
When selecting an agent don't be fooled by other who will try and sell you on inflated price expectations. Mark's read of the market was accurate and he delivered on what he said he would. Due to a softening market our expectations were not met at auction but over the following days Mark's diligent follow-up and negotiating got us the result we were after.

Excellent, highly-skilled Agent
We were very happy we had Nick managing the sale of our property; he has a very professional manner, in-depth industry knowledge and is very personable. He made us feel confident that were in good hands and would provide regular communication when appropriate. Nick also executed a strong campaign and had a very effective strategy come auction day, hence we ended up with a fantastic result! We trusted Nick had our best interests at all time, he operates most effectively when allowed some space to get on with the job and hence we didn't need to chase him or have any concerns because we knew he had everything covered and this certainly resulted in a very strong auction result for us. Knowledgable and experienced Sales Agent/Auctioneer in South Yarra precinct.
Mark has always managed to find a good buyer for us. At times his prices achieved for our sales of units have exceeded our expectations. Quite recently, we sold an apartment, within a market that is currently patchy with lower clearance rates. We felt fortunate that Mark had found a buyer and although we would have liked to have achieved a higher price, we had to be realistic and accept that we had certainly given it our best shot. We were reassured to know that from our previous experiences with Mark, we had used the best available agent in South Yarra.

Excellent Team
I would definitely recommend Nick Gatacre and The South Yarra Hocking Stuart team to auction a flat in the price bracket below one million. Nick was very enthusiastic, organised and prompt to reply. He knew the property, had done his research and was very helpful with hints as to preparation of the property for sale. He suggested an appropriate date and the auction time. He had a good marketing plan which was not too expensive. The price range set was realistic and the suggested reserve range was also correct. The team managed to get over seventy groups viewing the property which was also very good. There were plenty of opportunities for clients to view including private views. The property went at auction for well over the reserve price.
