My house took about 7 months to sell but I that could have been due to a number of factors - moving into the Winter months; a garden that had its peculiarities and there was a large area of 'Council strip' to mow. Anyway, Belinda maintained personal contact and I appreciated the feedback and general encouragement. I considered taking the house off the market for a brief period but I did not consider changing Real Estate agent. By way of a small history - I put my former residence on the market a couple of years ago and then took it off rather quickly. From my very first phone call to Ben the process was very easy. His confidence to get the job done and knowledge in the industry are second to none. From the get go Ben was easy to communicate with, always available to talk to, and gave his time freely. Its nice to have an agent who put me at ease with the process and got the job done very quickly. After making an initial enquiry with Ben it was easy to decide to use him to sell the property. Once the property hit the market it only took three days for Ben to close the deal with an interested buyer AND AT THE ASKING PRICE!! So to say my brother and I were happy with the Agent we chose and the process is simply an understatement. Following a divorce, I had a lot of problems with finding a property in Narooma. First I didn't have a lot of money, secondly it was tied up in court. No other real estate helped me. In fact many of them just told me to go away. I had come from Canberra to the coast 8 times. It was exhausting. All of the other real estate agents just dismissed me because I had to wait about 4 weeks for the settlement money to come through. Also Narooma real estate is popular with Sydney buyers. I just kept being out bid. Ben just thought outside the square and trusted me when I said the money would come. He let me put an offer on a property with a promise. Everything worked out well. On his word, the buyers got the price they wanted and I got a lovely home. I cannot thank Ben enough.

While waiting in Ben's foyer to meet for the first time I picked up a book describing the history of the Bate family in the Narooma area for well over a 100 years. This told me immediately that Ben is a local as one can get. He is passionate about Narooma and this is evident in the way he conducts his business.
