David and his entire team at Biggin and Scott Port Melbourne went absolutely above and beyond for us and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Will and I (Karlie) were on the TV show 'The Block' and we gave them the extremely challenging task of tackling the televised sale of our Block apartment. From our very first meeting 6 months ago (when we were starting to build) right through until today (more than a month after our Auction), they have been honest, reliable, extremely knowledgeable and above all, friendly! Having never sold a property before (much less one in an entirely different state than the one we live in), we will be the first to admit that we had no idea what we were doing! That is why it gave us so much confidence to know that we had David and his team on our side. The process, which seemed from the outset a daunting task to us, was made invariably easier because of their whole approach. They consistently communicated with us to ensure we were on target and on track; when asked for their advice, they gave us honest and knowledgeable answers; and they worked harder than I ever could have imagined to get us our incredible record result! We have now bought and sold 2 houses through David and his team. We live interstate. David and his team went above and beyond the normal call of duty to enable us to get an exceptional price on our property. They organised numerous tradespeople to ensure our property was market ready and personally attended working bees when we were in the state to get it into it's current pristine state. They opened our house a minimum of 3 times per week as well as taking people through outside of home open times. They organised a VIP night before the property was launched. They also cleaned the garden before each home open. David's knowledge of Port Melbourne was second to none and we felt confident that only he could provide us a realistic price range for our property. David Lack is the consummate professional. I have known him for many years watching him as he sold houses in Port Melbourne time and time again. He understands the Port Melbourne real estate market backwards, with an intimate knowledge of the properties and their market value. No matter what the property climate at the time, he will get the best price for you. He could not have communicated better with me. Often when you are doing a tricky thing like selling a house, there are delays in communication which prompt you to make a follow up call when you shouldn't have to. Not with David! He did not miss a beat in communicating with me. I never had to guess what was going on. He ALWAYS kept me informed. David is an extremely credible real estate agent. First he knows his product and that gives one great confidence. Secondly, he tells the truth and does not exaggerate. He tells it how it is in an honest, friendly way. You know exactly where you stand. When you are selling a house, you don't see how David negotiates with the buyer. However from the seller's perspective he has superior negotiations skills which achieve the best price and at the same time he is able to maintain a great professional relationship with the buyer. I have no hesitation is saying that David is a 5 star agent in the true sense of that rating. If there were more than 5 stars available I would "tick" the highest.

In his dealings with us as purchasers, David, as the vendor's agent, was consummately professional. He conducted the property inspection and the subsequent negotiations ethically, diligently and, above all, courteously. We found him to be engaging, well-informed, efficient and very accommodating. Notably, David did not once seek to pressure us and his candour was much appreciated. We would unhesitatingly commend him to anyone contemplating the sale or purchase of a property. Our purchase was indeed a pleasing and rewarding experience, not least because of David's involvement.
