What a great experience. Sold a property with Thom and the transition from rental to selling was seamless. We were guided the whole way with realistic expectations and balanced advice. Michael was a pleasure to work with. He was fairly confident he could sell our house at auction after a mere two-week campaign. And he did. He wasn’t sure of the value but gave us a rough estimate and was confident the auction would show us how the market valued the property. After four open days with good potential buyer interest he discussed a reserve price with us and helped us come up with a figure we would be prepared to sell at, while, of course, hoping for more. He also discussed our options if bidding stopped before the reserve price. At the auction I was confident he would get us as good a price as anyone could. The result was that the reserve price was reached and exceeded by $40,000. We would have liked more, but what seller wouldn’t, and the convenience of completing a sale in 14 days clearly outweighed any shortfall in price. He also recommended excellent people to us for preparing for sale: a handyman for repairs, professional cleaners, photographer. We had sold a house years ago and it took about 10 months. We did not sell that time by auction and we clearly had the house overpriced. This time was a breeze. Thank you Michael! Michael is a very good communicator and very friendly.
