Zach went above and beyond to sell our property. He is young, ambitious and enthusiastic but with a maturity beyond his years. When he said he would work “day and night” to sell our property we didn’t take him literally - but he responded to our texts and emails immediately, regardless of the hour of the day. He showed people through our property first thing in the morning and last thing at night, sometimes for the same party. We observed him to be particularly skilled at managing the various stakeholders involved in a sale - always polite and professional regardless of the pressures of the situation. Zach also helped us to buy our “forever” home - so although we hope not to need a real-estate again anytime soon - we’d recommend Zach and the team at Peter Blackshaw Manuka!

We hadn’t heard of Gillian prior to asking her to handle a sale for us in an apartment building in inner south Canberra. She had sold another similar property in the same building and we saw her name there. This wasn’t an easy sale - a declining market, post Covid and a (good) tenant in place but their lease not expiring for eight months. But a sale was our objective, asap. So not straightforward. Gillian was excellent from the beginning to the end. A commitment to constant and quick communication with us as vendor and interested potential buyers, attention to detail, good and wise advice on strategy, competitive brokerage, a mature ability to balance the needs of all parties including the inbuilt tenant and she has excellent market and legal knowledge. We got a sale, not top of market $$$, but we knew our circumstances and timing and Gillian was persistent and proactive in achieving a reasonable result - very satisfactory to us. Gillian couldn’t have tried harder. We would unreservedly recommend her on all counts. Old style service. Highly recommended
