Sophie Tod has extensive experience in the industry. She has been with Blights Real Estate for over 20 years actively selling and managing real estate. Sophie is one of the Directors at Blights and daily provides strong leadership to the team. Her considerable experience gives her a unique edge and her clients enjoy having an experienced enthusiastic agent looking after them and their assets who takes time to listen to their needs and acts proactively. Sophie is passionate about her work, a good listener, focused and prepared to work hard for her clients to achieve the best possible outcome. Nick is the youngest of 3 sons of our Port Pirie based Managing Director Chris Keane. He has grown up in an environment where Blights is an everyday topic and has always had an interest in the business. Nick started at Blights in March 2014 and has since developed extensive experience in several different roles in the property management & sales departments. In 2021 he furthered his commitment to Blights by becoming a shareholder of the business. He began working in our Yorke Peninsula office managing his own portfolio of properties before returning to his home town of Port Pirie. He is now a member of our sales team working alongside Chris and Sophie Tod. Nick is also responsible for our listings in the Mid North region. Nick provides a good balance to the business. As an enthusiastic Gen Z he has an excellent grasp of the technology and social media platforms required in a progressive real estate group. Nick is a licensed Land Agent having completed his Diploma of Property Services (Real Estate Agency Management) through the Real Estate Institute of SA. Nick loves working and living within the local community. When he is not selling houses you can find him playing sport with the local team. Nick is very enthusiastic and approachable where real estate is concerned and will help you achieve your dreams.

Katie joined the Blights Port Pirie team in July 2025 as a Property Consultant. While new to the real estate industry, she brings with her more than 25 years of customer service experience, making her a valuable addition to our team. Known for her excellent communication, empathy, and understanding, Katie is committed to delivering exceptional service to every client. A lifelong Port Pirie local, Katie is deeply connected to the community. She actively volunteers her time as a member of Soroptimist International of Port Pirie, is the Team Leader for Fred’s Van, and serves as Convenor of the Pet Section at the Crystal Brook Show. Katie is married to Andrew and together they have three adult daughters and a granddaughter. She starts each day with a walk alongside friends, enjoys Pilates, and regularly participates in the local ParkRun. Katie is excited to guide buyers on their journey into the property market and to support clients as they move into the next chapter of their lives.

Chris was raised on the family farm south of Port Pirie and began working at Blights Real Estate in 1975. He became a partner in the business in 1985 and Managing Director in 2008. He is a Registered Manager and a 35+ year Member of the Real Estate Institute of SA. During the last 45 years he has sold hundreds of properties in Port Pirie and the region. He has expertise in residential, commercial, rural and business sales. His vast experience and knowledge of the local real estate industry cannot be understated. He embraces the challenges of this ever changing industry and has experienced many economic and political changes that effect real estate from time to time. Chris believes in offering a professional and confidential service and an honest approach is the only way to conduct business and this is testimony to his longevity in real estate. He is married to Annie and has 3 adult sons with their youngest son, Nicholas following in his fathers’ footsteps as a Sales Consultant in the Pirie office. Over the years Chris has been on a number of sporting committees, P & F and has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Port Pirie for over 25 years.
