She has a no bull-shit approach (or down-to-earth if you prefer diplomacy), which I appreciate. She helped me with the presentation of the home and other stages of the process. When it came to the final inspection for the buyers, she was stern yet polite when they wanted to measure up the house and show it off to others, which is not part of a final inspection. Just sold my house through Steve, it settled yesterday. Steve and his team were amazing. His local knowledge was excellent and he knew exactly the target market for my house (it was a heritage listed property). Sold within 5 days of listing! Their fee was higher than some of the others, but he promised he would get me a higher price to cover it - and he delivered WAY BEYOND my hopes and dreams. I ended up with a lot more money in my pocket than expected. Zero regrets, would happily use them again for my next property.

Tony was very knowledgeable about the area and the property. nice and friendly to everyone and it was very busy. I most appreciated that if he didn’t know the answer to something he just said so and did not offer a bulldust response. Nicola was very easy to work with and I felt she was genuine in her negotiations and interest in us. any query I had she responded quickly and clearly and always appeared understanding and interested during our conversations. We decided to sell our apartment with Tony at Bourkes after his honest appraisal and thorough research of the area and similar properties, when compared to another agent we met with who we felt just told us what we wanted to hear in terms of pricing. The process from start to finish was made very clear, and with the help of Tony's assistant Sally (who was amazing with organising various quotes and appointments for carpet replacement, painting, furniture staging and photography in a short period of time) we got the apartment looking great for sale. Despite finance falling through on the first great offer we accepted, which was disappointing, Nicola and Tony were able to get another deal on the table that we were pretty happy to accept. There was some miscommunication with the buyer's mortgage broker regarding a pre-approval condition in the contract that wasn't met (we didn't want to void the sale/contract), but luckily finance was approved regardless. Overall we would definitely recommend Tony and the Bourkes team to anyone selling a property, as they know the market well, and keep a very open channel of communication throughout the whole process which is much appreciated. We had decided to sell our investment property many years ago the only question was when. I bought this property from Bourkes in 2019. I thought then how upfront Tony was, when I went through the dwelling.
