I’m a first home buyer, bought a new build, but was unaware of the GST cause in the contract until almost settlement. While this could have been picked up by my queries to conveyancer and bank, I would have appreciated being told when putting in an offer as I had made clear my offer was top I could offer. Otherwise, Michael was patient and not pushy as a salesman, which I really valued, and kept me well-informed of progress in sales. I have felt this in all my dealings with Buxton Ballarat in looking at properties. Not sure if agent’s responsibility but have found my central heating unit was switch off and tv antenna lacking a connection at settlement. Had to call out an antenna specialist who said this should have been checked off at property handover.
