My wife and I commenced the sales process of our townhouse in Footscray just prior to the COVID outbreak. We met with a number of real estate agents prior to placing the property on the market. Matthew and Tristian came to visit us in our home and it is unusual for my wife and I to immediately agree on many things without having, what I like to call healthy debate 😊, however on this occasion, the decision was very easy, and Biggins and Scott were clearly the team we wanted to work with. They provided an honest assessment of the property as it was being presented with the tenants occupying the property and what it may in fact cost us if we try to sell with them there. They provided us with a clear process on the steps to take to achieve the very best outcome. So we commenced our journey together and followed the recommendations Matthew made. Then, low and behold COVID outbreak hit and the immediate tendency was to stop all activity and try to secure new tenants to rent the property again. All I can say is without Matthew’s enthusiasm and confidence of achieving a great outcome in such trouble times we probably would have given up. His persistence must be congratulated and the way he kept us informed whether by a phone call or WhatsApp or text, was fantastic, we were never left guessing where things were at. I genuinely think that others would have possibly given up as it took a while to sell the property. In the end, did we get exactly what we were hoping?
