It was my first experience attending in an auction and Patrick made the process very smooth and less stressful! He explained everything about the process and stayed with us during the auction and never pushed us to bid but explaining the steps for us. He did also took us to the house before auction and during the open home and answered all questions we had about the house. He was very professional and friendly and supportive at the same time. Honestly , Catherine is an agent like no other ! We’ve dealt with agent who told us anything just to get the listing; Catherine was the opposite;! She didn’t sugarcoat anything , she was honest , forthright and explained in detail how the process was going to go, the trends in the market and a realistic expectation of an achievable price for our property . True to her word she was in constant contact to tell us how things were going , the interest she’d had and the feedback . Needless to say she sold the house at an excellent price, an amicable agreement which ourselves and the new buyers were very happy with . I could not recommend Catherine highly enough , she is the ultimately professional , a true find which is not always an easy thing to do in this profession! When we listed with Patrick we knew the property market had started to decline. We were worried that we had left it too late to get the land on the market. Patrick suggested we auction the land and do the auction online, that way weather would not impact the auction and the buyers would feel more comfortable bidding. We liked the idea of online as we thought it would be less pressured for us. The auction itself was great. There were almost 70 bids, and we sold for way over our reserve. Patirick's hard work really showed. Our sale price was even higher than we had expected before the market started to fall.
