Dane is fantastic estate agent to deal with. He's honest, a great communicator, works immediately, highly professional, highly efficient and is extremely effective at what he does. I cannot praise him enough. Such high levels of work ethic all round. Dane was absolutely amazing and fantastic to deal with. I can't praise him and his team highly enough. They are an amazing crew of people, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every dealing I have had with them. It wouldn't surprise me if Century 21 Mandurah are among the highest performing, if not highest performing estate agent in these southern coastal districts of the peel region. I remember meeting Dane briefly at another home open in the region. After our quick discussion, I left hoping that he might be the agent I would have the pleasure to deal with — and to my great luck, he was, exceeding all expectations. I could not recommend the team over at Century 21 Mandurah any higher for all your property related needs. As purchasers we found Julie to be very detailed and efficient. If she didn’t know something (rare) she found out and immediately communicated it to us. The main thing that we appreciated is that she was clearly working for the seller. Which we loved, she was there to get the very best price for her client whilst being fair and honest with us, the purchasers. Too many agents are just there to close the deal without actually doing their true job. Julie does the right thing for both sides.

Julie has years of knowledge and experience in real estate sales and the Mandurah market. Always made us feel like she was doing her utmost to sell our mum's home. In the online presentation she went above and beyond with her funky 70's look to promote the home in a video as well as using technology to stage the rooms to show their potential. She was always upfront and honest. We could ask her anything and communication was constant. Julie was a good listener and understood our situation. Sandy was lovely and good to deal with in the early stages. Purchasing and also initially, she was on holidays and answered most our questions over text or email which was also appreciated. But then when she got back assume she got swamped, then went away again, she missed key details in correspondence and also made a few errors and misinformation along the way. When it came to the final inspection which we requested with plenty of notice some additional time to measure as we were downsizing and needed to replace a lot of furniture, we walked in, having a 2 hour round trip, she immediately rushed us and said “we had to be quick as she had somewhere else to be”. This was only the 2nd time we’d seen our new home. There was a small issue picked up which she had resolved for us after requesting it. For handover the date was booked well in advance, but she still couldn’t make it. Final point of contact was a phone call at settlement. She said the keys were with the neighbour and she would give us a follow up call after. We ended up getting the keys off a neighbour we’d never met. Had no bottle of wine, bunch of flowers or even a Thankyou card waiting, no follow up call, and we have never heard from Sandy again (beside this request for a review). Left to feel somewhat unimportant at one of the most important times in our life and felt her loyalty was more with the seller and not so much us as the purchasers. We were also left with a leaking toilet and a couple of dodgy light switches that if we were given the time of day at the final inspection, these items would have probably been picked up. The selling agent of our old house had a much more thorough process. We thank Sandy for her time, we really love the house, the area, the deal, we’ve already done a lot of upgrades, but also hope she’s takes our constructive criticism as former professional salespeople onboard to improve the experience for other clients going forward.

Julie Spano is, without exaggeration, the best real estate agent we have ever dealt with. I genuinely could not recommend her highly enough. From the very first enquiry she went above and beyond. I messaged her about the property at 9 pm expecting a reply the next day, but she responded straight away and continued messaging back and forth to answer every question thoroughly. That level of commitment set the tone for the entire experience. When I accidentally missed the home open, Julie drove back to the property and arranged a private viewing for me within 20 minutes. Who does that? That alone speaks volumes about her work ethic and dedication to her clients. Throughout the entire process she checked in regularly and took care of everything. She organised our building and pest inspections, connected us with a settlement agent, and guided us step by step so we always knew exactly what was happening. She removed so much stress from what is normally a very overwhelming process. The most impressive moment came when we hit a serious issue at settlement. It looked like settlement might not go through on the scheduled day, which would have been a disaster for us with deposits paid for removals, carpet cleaning, and pest control. Julie stepped in immediately, handled the situation with total professionalism, and secured occupancy for us on the day of settlement so everything went ahead as planned. That level of problem solving, calm under pressure, and genuine care is rare. Julie is responsive, proactive, organised, and deeply committed to her clients. She does not just sell houses. She protects her clients, advocates for them, and carries the weight of the process so they do not have to. If there were awards for dedication, service, and integrity in real estate, she would be winning them. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us and would recommend her to absolutely anyone without hesitation.
