I found Chris honest and reliable person, whatever was conveyed/discussed was the things that were followed. From paying the deposit to settlement it was a smooth process. He was efficient enough to pass on my offer to the owner immediately and things were finalised on the same day. Overall it was great to deal with Chris.

While knowing the local area and market we decided to go with C21 who sold us our home 20 years earlier. The initial process was helpful as we prepared our home for sale with Vicki's down to earth advise and guidance but she ended up leaving soon after then Chris took over. Chris was often away so his PA Danny would fill in. Communication progressively became difficult with not knowing who to be dealing with to get updates and honest feedback from potential buyers, and knowing if we were doing everything we could to attract more interest. Chris did give updates after open houses when he wasn't away. We were selling at a difficult time during unsteady interest rate rises and were needing encouragement and sound advise that we were doing everything possible we could to sell. We felt C21 was working in the best interest of the buyer not us as the vendor, we felt let down and very disappointed. Negotiations on the final price could have gone much better and given us a much higher amount than what we ended up with based on Chris' advise to accept the next offer as we were likely to loose the buyer if we pushed them further. We had already been on the market 4.5 months during this unstable market time so we reluctantly agreed to go with it not knowing at the time the buyers were planning a big refurb and bathroom and kitchen reno, annoyingly measuring up before settlement. We never received a personal congratulations from Chris Delfsma as the principle agent when we finally sold, nor did we know the 'sold' sign had been put on the sign. We thought this was supposed to be an exciting time and worthy of some quick photos & celebration but not so for us. Sometime after moving, Chris out of the blue sent some photos of our sold house of renovations underway by the new owners. A bitter sweet reaction. Unfortunately for us our choice of selling our lovely mountain home through C21 Hazelbrook left us feeling disappointed and let down instead of happy, excited and relieved.
