After deciding to list our home in Burpengary East, my wife and I researched the selling process. The key seemed to be having the right agent that made you feel comfortable. We had three local Burpengary agents visit and none of them made us feel as though we were important to them, rather we were left feeling we were dealing with either unprofessional bogans or extreme arrogance. Alex attended our house outside of hours, on a Saturday night to work in with our busy schedules. He was super friendly, ready to assist us with any queries or concerns and stayed in constant contact with us throughout the process. He didn't just leave us to our own vices, trying to get Solicitors, Finance, Conveyancors and Inspectors to work together. Alex promised a quality service and very quickly achieved the sale at the target price. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond Alex's control, the settlement was deferred several times and his communication of those delays and the various inspection appointments were not as clear and accurate as his original promises in relation to communication. The buyer's original financier's valuation was low and inaccurate and Alex's initial reaction was to try and convince us to accept a lower offer from the same buyers. However, after we furnished him with sufficient evidence of the errors in the valuer's report, he then came on board and actively worked to convince the buyers of the true value of the property. As a result the sale was able to proceed with the same buyer, but through a new financier.

After looking for my first home for several months, I finally found one that looked interesting. I left my details online and thought "Oh well, I'll see what happens this time", as I had done this previously with other properties, from other agencies and didn't receive a timely response, if at all. Alex was prompt with his response and was happy to show me through the property at my convenience. He is quite knowledgeable when it comes to the area and surrounding suburbs and was happy to mediate between the seller and myself. His communication levels are excellent and he acted in a manner far greater than just a salesperson. Alex has certainly raised the bar when it comes to real estate agents and I recommend him to anyone! Luc
