So, over more than 20 years now I have purchased/sold five properties in the Taringa/Toowong/Indooroopilly area through Doug. Yes, we have used other agents from time to time to purchase/negotiate, however Doug is still the best, and our go to each time. Doug has kept me informed on every property transaction, almost daily, including this last one. He sold it within a week for a price which obviously suited both the new family, and us. I had found myself, in my industry, using his mantra of "Well Al, you have to be happy", when settling a decision. I remember him saying that when we met more than two decades ago, and he says it to this day. Not only does he say it, I believe he actually means it. Nothing was a problem and the pre-market assessment help arrange small things about the house which made it attractive to buyers. This all sounds a little biased I know, but his breadth of experience in the Western suburbs, and his calm nature, can't help but impress. We have had the experience now of buying through him and also selling with him. Whilst Doug is an outstanding agent, with acute political acumen, he is simply a good human being.

I purchased in a sellers' market. Toby's communication with me was timely, efficient and genuine. A few hurdles came up in the process, but all were overcome without delaying the settlement date. I can only assume the same experience for the seller as either of us could have walked away from the contract. Customer service will always get you further than technology.
