Overall we are very happy Downton Property's management of our property. Inspections were regular with good feedback and photos, queries from tennants were passed on quickly and resolved easily. It is with deep regret that I write this review. I believe that they try to do their best but at times that they just cruise along. At one point the 3 monthly inspection had to be repeated because the agent did not do their job properly. I had a water leak which caused me to have an freakishly large water bill which I paid in the expectation that I would be refunded - I never did get that refund. Finally throughout the tenancy I had those niggling problems - a Kitchen tap that had a water leak (never fixed) a bathroom fan that was loud (never fixed). Then upon moving out I got a message from the agents that "We have been out to the property this morning and myself and the owners were very impressed with the overall condition of the property" then there was a small list of blemishes ie a black splash could have been a little cleaner (I dispute this by the way) and I then get hit with a $200 cleaning fee. My word of advise would be choose wisely ...
