She provided invaluable advice on preparing and styling the unit for sale. Once we were on the market Martha did a great job of showing and promoting the unit, following up interested buyers and keeping us informed of any developments. Martha sold our unit for a price that exceeded our expectations. We are 100% satisfied with Martha as our agent and will use Martha to sell our next property.

We were a little unsure about using a small, local agent rather than one of the large chains, but it turned out to be the best decision we've made. John knew the market inside out, managed our expectations well, knew who the genuine potential buyers were and overall ran a great campaign with the sale price far exceeding our initial expectations. We were told 4 potential buyers with a further possible 2. We received one bid way below market value and no other buyers. We were continually told by John he was the best ,,,,,, he simply didn't deliver and that cost us a lot of effort and time for nothing.

John is the guy you want to sell your house! We had a bit of a roller-coaster ride due to some really unusual circumstances around our sale (all out of our and John's control) but John managed it beautifully. Selling a house requires strong teamwork between vendors and the agent and we worked seamlessly with John from the moment we decided to sell. He has tremendous local and industry knowledge, a strong network and throughout the process he demonstrated superb leadership and communication skills. He's transparent, trustworthy, chilled out but professional and a real gentleman - most importantly for us we had many laughs along the way and got the result we wanted. Don't look past John if you're selling around the beaches!

Some people might consider the above comment heading the very edition of an oxymoron. However we have dealt with Jon Drake and his team on a number of occasions and always felt well-informed by a person who really knows the area. He has often provided guidance and advice on real estate that brought him no direct benefit. At least not immediately as he helped us make a decision on the right investment property for us that we purchased through another agency. We immediately asked Drake real estate to manage the property for us, which they did very well. In acting as our agent to sell our property recently, Jon invested much of his personal time and went to great lengths to make sure we were well informed of the progress of our sale. It was a good time to be selling and Jon acted in the best interests of the vendor (us), however he maintained that he and we would be completely honest and transparent with the property purchasers. We did very well on the sale of our house but we are also very proud of the new home someone is about to move in to and we believe they will definitely get their money's worth and be very happy there. I would hope that the people purchasing our property felt that they had dealt with a scrupulous estate agent as well.
