We recently sold our Brisbane apartment with Dean Scott. My wife and I live in New Zealand, so we needed a Brisbane-based agent to take care of everything for us locally. In this regard, choosing to work with Dean was a great move. Dean was initially dissatisfied with the presentation of the apartment following the first round of photos, so he arranged to relocate our tenants, have the property cleaned, and then decorated and presented for new photos which looked outstanding. This time invested on his part, and attention to detail upfront as well as during subsequent open homes, undoubtedly enhanced buyer interest in a tough market, and in our experience went considerably above and beyond what we'd expect from an agent. Dean then successfully negotiated an excellent price for our unit, working with several potential buyers to bring about a win for us in a difficult sellers market. He also arranged for the installation of an air-conditioning unit (part of the negotiated settlement). All of this was handled in our absence via email, text and frequent calls. The process was stress-free and well communicated throughout - essential for us trying to manage this process from another country - and the result was a great one.
