I’d like to highly recommend Charlotte Cooke of Elders Real Estate Kings Langley. I’m not making this recommendation because we made a lot of money selling our house, although the price far exceeded our expectations. The sale price depends much more on market factors at the time of sale, than on anything a real estate agent might claim to be able to conjure. I’m writing this recommendation based on Charlotte’s competence and professionalism. Markets go up and down. Competence and professionalism don’t go up and down. Through the selling of our house and the purchase of a new property we dealt with many real estate agents. They aren’t all good and some are disgraceful. As the process went on, I became more and more grateful that we were dealing with Charlotte. When Charlotte says she will be there at 3:20,she is there at 3:20. When you text Charlotte she quickly responds (even on Sunday – Sorry Charlotte you can take that out if you don’t want to be held to that). When you ask a more complicated question, she explains the answer simply and gives examples. A two sentence text message may not seem like a big effort but we found those quick texts very reassuring. Charlotte understands that working people’s world’s can’t stop while they are selling a house and that might mean changes of plans day to day. Since she understands that, she has thought ahead about options in case there is a change. One of the things I like most about Charlotte is that she OFFERS advice. She doesn’t say this is how it must be done or this is the only way. She says this is what I think is best, here are my reasons and the decision is yours. Everything wasn’t smooth sailing through the process and Charlotte had explained what could happen, so that we were prepared when things didn’t go perfectly and she always had us back on the right track, because she was prepared for things not to be perfect.
