We have been renting our properties with the same group for 11 years and stayed with them through company changes. We have had a few tenant movements in that time; however, the recent tenants have been the most unsettling. There have been many instances of miscommunication which have resulted in a property being left vacant for over two months when there has been a high demand for rental properties. This has resulted in us being out of pocket and very unsettled. One property, the renter does not pay regularly and has been late with payments. This was noted by us during a recent meeting with the agent. Although they were aware of this, it hadn't been highlighted as a problem. Overall, we have not been happy and will be looking elsewhere for new agents when the contract falls due.

For over 2 years we were fortunate to have Kristy Harrington as our property manager. Kristy was friendly but professional at all times. Inspections were carried out in an orderly manner, feed back was always given, and positive comments were made. This in turn gave us a sense of pride in our rental home. Kristy works 3 days a week but even though I would email with a heading, read when you are back at work, a reply would pop back within half an hour. Kristy has a keen eye, she would notice green lawns, gardens weeded, home, clean and cared for. Elders, you have a gem in your organization.
